ability don't remove event from upcoming event block, after it started

Hi

I think that in event module missing an option don't remove event from upcoming event block, after it started.

e.g. I have event from 1. 11 8 AM till 1.11, 10 PM then
in 9 AM I have no information about this event in upcoming event block.

I would prefer let this event in upcoming event block with text "running" or "running - 10 hour till end"
(or e.g. "running, 5 days 3 hours till end") untill event ends.

I think that it is useful think, you don't lost information about (long time) event after it wil start.
