Hi Lee,
for lm paypal sub, say the price is $20 a month. After a year I'd like to raise that to $30 a month. My ISP just did this to me, without my having to sign anything. They simply send me an email saying they are raising the price. I can cancel if I want. Otherwise I'm at the new price.
I would like to raise the price periodically. my contract with the customer would be month to month so there would not be any legal issues here
you say that if we change the subscription parameters paypal would return an error.
is there a way to do this?

LeeMcL commentedCurrently no. However this is something I will need myself so I will be working on it in the near future.

LeeMcL commentedBad news. PayPal doesn't have a mechanism to automatically change a subscription without the subscriber being involved. The closest is making a button available that users will click on to change their subscription.
When I have time I will add a "modify" button ability, even though its far from ideal.
