Play buttons not working in later IE 6 or 7

In the last couple of weeks the updates to IE6 and release of IE7 have made the PLAY buttons and other active x control not work. They function correctly in Firefox 2 with a non-secure site. When I run my site in secure mode Firefox also can't play the audio through the browser. In all cases the files can be downloaded with no problem.
