I'm very new to Rules and didn't even see it listed as a dependency (or Browscap for that matter). Seems like I need to create a rule in order to use your module, but a little documentation would be helpful to that end.

I changed this to a bug because I ended up uninstalling v2 and went with v1 dev instead. v1 dev gives me an admin page so I'm wondering if a fresh install of v2 doesn't give that admin page? Crazy, I know.

The V2 has been converted to a rules based where you can create rules. There's quite a bit of difference between them. If you're looking for a very easy administrative panel, v1 is still a very good module. V2 is focusing on a more dynamic system. I'll add to the documentation to make it more obvious.

I don't mean to be harsh, but the module is unusable for the rest of us without even single a paragraph of documentation. I'd love to have a brief tiny example of how to get this working (I couldn't find any of the browser based rules after a good 20 minutes of searching).

I'm going to give that older version a shot.

There's a readme included now. This is intended to be more of a generic module for those of us that need to do more than just display a message, since it allows any action to be performed for any browser. I've put a list of comparable modules that are simpler for people wanting to just display a message on the module page now.
