Im trying to edit some things in my store. Whenever I go to a product and click on the edit tab it takes me to the wrong thing to edit. Any ideas?

"takes you to the wrong thing to edit" ?

meaning you are directed to a different node id?

when you hover over the edit tab what nid is showing?

so im on a page and click edit and it keeps the correct URL but the page displaying changes and is not the one I want to edit.

That information doesn't really aid in deugging this issue.

Please inspect the node id's of the node you are looking at and the node you are being sent to. Is there a pattern that can be understood?

have you checked ubercart.org for similar reports?
have you checked the ubercart issue queue for similar reports?

This worked before but doesn't now? What has been done to the site between the last time you know it worked properly and now?

This is the correct link when i click on the edit tab

/?q=miche-bag/shells/abbie/edit

After click the tab the above link is showing but the page showing is associate with the link below. Anytime I click on a product to edit it shows the page for the link below but the correct url.

/?q=miche-bag

multiple questions have been asked that need to be answered to try and glean a wider idea of what may be wrong here.

You are using clean urls? were you ever?
have you made any changed to the .htaccess file of your drupal install?

answers to the previous questions you've left unanswered would be helpful as well.

have you checked ubercart.org for similar reports? Searching now not finding anything
have you checked the ubercart issue queue for similar reports? Same as above

This worked before but doesn't now? What has been done to the site between the last time you know it worked properly and now? I dont know if it worked before, it seemed to be only associated with products.

I was using clean url's but turned them off trying them off to see if if it would fix anything.

how did you turn off clean urls? Were they turned back on? are the paths the same on as off?

gavakie’s picture

another developer just turned them back on. but yes they are the same with the exception of ?=

Also the wierd thing is the page it keeps taking it too is a 'Page' not a product.
