I tried this both the beta and development version of the module. For what ever reason, Webform does not appear as an add new content option, even after the module is created. I enabled all user options available for Webform my role.
Webform does appear in the Content Menu, but when selected, it tells me to create a webform, for which there is no option to accomplish.

ksenzeeI can't reproduce this - I go to node/add/webform, fill in the title of my form and hit Save, and I'm directed to node/x/webform, where I can add form fields. If those steps don't work for you, try clearing your cache at admin/config/development/performance and see if that works. Otherwise feel free to reopen the issue.

SolarFarmer commentedThanks ksenzee. I didn't realize I had nothing selected in the webform module configeration menu.

chlarkkirby commentedI installed webform and it went well as expected but when i go to the content-->>Add Content the webform is not there.
I checked the Structure--->>Content Types and i can see that there is a Webform content type present in there.
I tried the #1 above but no add a webform interface appears.
I tried checking the "configuration" menu inside the Modules--->> Webform it directs me into the Admin--->>Configuration--->>Content Authoring Options where i have CKEditor and Text Formats on the menu

quicksketchHm, not sure what the deal is with @ranjitshukla4. Looks like a bot-post to me.
@chlarkkirby and others: If you don't have any Webforms on your site at all, I suggest disabling, and the uninstalling the module using the "Uninstall" tab at admin/modules/uninstall. Then delete the Webform content type. Now re-enable the module. This will re-install the module, the database tables, settings, and recreate the "webform" content type like a fresh installation.
I'm reclosing this issue because it's been ages since there was a real post here. If you have questions, please open a new issue instead of reopening this one. The comment #4 is making everything confusing in here.

ginmonty commentedThanks so much, I had the problem of webforms not showing up after installing the module and clearing the cache did the trick.
