Can anyone help with info on installing the profile.module; I have searched for information on how to install it to no avail.

I have drupal 4.4.1 and 4.4.2, and I want to extend the user registration form and customize the user profile, but I can't seem to locate any guide or tutorial on this.

I know some have used it successfully so I keep struggling to find a way to do it.
Even a short description will be very helpful. Pls someone help.

Thanks all for a great app. Actually, I think great is an understatement for Drupal, but everyone has said a lot already.

Isn't the profile module part of the default installation? Check to see if it needs to be activated in admin/system/modules.
