Spellcheck and Flexinode

I use flexinode to add additional fields to certain node types, but spellcheck bypasses those. I an very new to PHP, but from looking at the code it seems there might be an easy way to add a few lines to have spellcheck find flexinode fields.

Flexinode text areas are assigned names like edit[flexinode_n] (n=number assigned by flexinode) where the regular body areas are named edit[body].

This is about as far as I can go with a limited knowledge of code. Is this a problem that will have to be hard-coded for each flexinode install, or is there another fix?
