I get this error when trying to submit a list of users:

"Validation error, please try again. If this error persists, please contact the site administrator"

...and I am the site administrator! :)

I don't see any settings to help fix this...and there are no errors upon installation.

Could you please post some more information so I can attempt to reproduce the bug? What was the exact data on the form before you hit the Submit button?

attached is a screen shot. Originally I tried it with a page full of entries....here I just tried adding a single user....same error.

I'm guessing that you need to get the latest userplus.module from CVS. If you upgraded to 4.7.4 and were using userplus before the upgrade, then you'll definitely need the latest. Let us know if that fixes it for you.

maybe a dumb question....but is the 'latest version' whatever is listed on the modules pages?

(and I am still on 4.7.3 - I have never been able to successfully upgrade a Drupal version...)

The latest, in your case, would be the 4.7.x-1.x-dev version, which you can find by clicking the "View all releases" link on http://drupal.org/project/userplus -- let us know how it goes. You can always find modules for the version of Drupal that you're using on the Modules page.

Now that I've finally caught on to the new release system ... if you are using 4.7.x, you will want to get the latest "Official release" listed here: http://drupal.org/project/userplus
