It looks like a bug introduced in alpha7, since all previous alpha versions didn't had this issue in Aegir. If that is a d7 bug, it will probably break upgrade from beta1 to beta2 etc.

This is not core's problem until you can properly point out what the bug (if any) is. Study the problem in the Aegir queue until you can point to something specific that needs to be fixed in core.
