Hey,
I know the description of this option says that "if a user’s computer’s clock is inaccurate, this countdown will be inaccurate as well" - but why is this really the case? There are so many auction sites out there where this obviously works for any machine.. it should be possible to load time left during page load and then decrement that value without looking at the user clock. Shouldn't be too complicated, right?
Thanks,
Martin

winnie80 commentedhave you tried using jstimer as countdown module?
it works fine with me, you can check the result at http://veiling.nl.
you do however need to write a form alter function within your own custom module to utilize this countdown theme/function.
this site is still in test fase
i still not figure out on how to give winner access to pay the item, cause for some reason it did not
also on how to integrate mail system so that if an auction product almost closed, the system will automatically send mails to the other non highest bidders, just like what ebay do.
if you need my help utilizing the countdown/timer js, just contact me
