I am using Drupal 6.19, Views 6.2.11, and CCK 6.2.8

I need a single View created based on the Glossary view.

This view will only display content from a single node type.

The alpha-pager for the glossary will be based on the node title (just as it is).

What will be different than the original glossary view is the path (instead of 'glossary' it must be 'sites') and the fields included (an image field and a text field named review).

I've spent 3 days trying to complete this and although I understand views very well I just do not seem to be able to get my head around the glossary view.

My budget for this is $50.

Also, I may ask a few questions along the way because I would love to know why I could not get this to work.

Clone the glossary view, give it a new name.

Change the path for the page view.

Add a filter on Node: Type

Add the fields you want displayed.

Tried it many times, but changing the path seems to break it.

I can change the path back to glossary and everything works again.

Just cloned 'glossary' to 'my_glossary'

Changed path for page display to 'my_glossary'

Saved view.

Works fine.

Does your site already have 'sites' defined as a path possibly?

Test done with update copy of views.

"sites" as a path is going to cause an issue because it's already a path in the filesystem. That's your problem, it's nothing to do with Views.

Thanks.

That was the issue.
