In #945214: Candidate Debut feature: debut_geotagging, built on geotaxonomy we're introducing map views and so need to decide which Drupal map solution to adopt as the standard in Debut. Currently there are two main options:

* GMap
* OpenLayers

See #946394: Define/refine criteria for selecting from among candiate solutions for proposed bases for selecting from candidate solutions.

GMap has much higher usage stats. But OpenLayers has strong features integration and is a non-proprietary, community open source solution.

Propose adopting OpenLayers.
