What is the point of the "Execute" interval? If one has a "Older than" interval of 2 weeks and an "Execute" cycle of "quarterly", then comments are going to stay open for 3 months. I propose that once #373629: Individual content type/node configuration is implemented we do away with the cycle time and just execute daily.

I can see why someone might only want to run the script once a week. But I don't the feature is that import not to drop.

Thanks

In #464992: Allow finer granularity of time, it was suggested the we allow the age to be xx units which I would like to do eventually. That would be the only real reason I can see to say close the comments weekly but run weekly - that would give you comments closing in two weeks. Allowing xx units obviates the need for that work-around.
