By dabellator on

hey everyone, need some help. im trying to change the folder where my uploaded files are being saved. i need to do some maintenance on my site and want to delete everything in that folder. trouble is, when i change the folder (write permissions are set up properly) and try to upload, nothing happens. it simply wont do it.

is there anything else i need to change that im missing? thanks guys.

I'm not sure I'm following fully, but have you tried changing permissions of the parent directory of the folder in question?

I have, that was what i was trying (unsuccessfully!) to say in my original post that everything was "writable." thanks for the input though, any other thoughts?
