Hi there,

I'm new to Drupal and website design so I need some help and who better to ask than the experts here. I have got Drupal going and after a week of sleepless nights I sort of get it! I like the promise of the power to do your thing in the browser directly with the site. I hope someone can suggest to me some templates like the zen theme (I'm using the midnight one) that can put boarders around the blocks (or someway to do this in this theme). My site looks ok but the wire frame which I have switched on is not exactly what I have in mind. I do not know about design or programming in php but I can use a tempale LOL. I will learn but I need it faster than I can do that. Just a basic front page like the Giordani Marinelli theme but with a black back ground. Also how can I change the header picture with my own in this theme - it keeps changing each time I load the site?

Is there such a template that just has some realizable blocks with boarders that I can arrange as I wish on the page and ad content, pictures etc. without resorting to a designer until I learn how?

You might try the fusion theme. http://drupal.org/project/fusion
From reviewing the overview video it seems to be geared to your needs.
I've never used it personally though.
