Bring Back the Related Modules

In the New release the related modules are available on the module category pages. You click on the the module category and you have list of related module sorted Alphabetically, by Recency and by Most installed.

True, Bringing back the Most installed and Most Recent Modules across all the categories on the Module Page would greatly help.

Shyamala - Thank you for the response to my ticket and directing me to this one. The list on module category is of little relevance to individual modules! The blocks you are describing are category wide and are helpful if I am new to the category. This DOES NOT address the related modules to a specific module. PLEASE bring this feature back ASAP.

I'll bring forward the issue I noted there, then - #372023: Add "related modules" block - which is marked as "fixed" but does not seem to actually be anywhere. Maybe whoever fixed that one could go into more detail as to what they meant.

They were certainly talking about what we're talking about, the Related Modules info on individual module pages, not any kind of listing or category or search:

I am actually not sure that all these "blocks" have to be blocks in the Drupal sense. Maybe it is only some theming work to move such links to the rhs from the node body.

With http://drupal.org/cvs?commit=440180 and http://drupal.org/cvs?commit=440152, this is ready to redeploy. These are new links which Google has a history of liking to follow, so we should wait for a lull in traffic to deploy, assigning to nnewton for that. Just head over to the block admin and drag 'pivots_block: Recommendations' up to the right sidebar.

Glad to hear this will be fixed soon, I sure missed it!

For future reference, #328932: Modules and partial dependencies - enhances[] and enhancedby[] field in modules' .info.yml files would really dovetail with this nicely.
