login form alignment problem in google chrome browser

hi,

currently i am involved in developing the job portal site.i try to use the user login bar module instead of default one.i am using aquia-marina theme and drupal 6.19 version.i need to display login bar at the header region.so i try to login bar to header.but i am uncomfortable with the space available at the top and bottom region i try to remove the following code at the loginbar.css file

this adds some space in top and bottom, so anything inside can look vertically

I don't see the space in mozila,IE and Opera.but i find the space in case of Chrome.For viewing purpose have a look at screen shot.any body kindly give idea to fix this problem.
