seutje commentedlooks pretty compatible to me, markup is in a logical order and wrapped in proper elements...
were you expecting it to magically cause browsers that don't have css support to get css support?
or were you expecting a dreadful table layout with spacer gifs and other horrid layout-related img tags?
I suppose the actual content bit could be pushed to an earlier location in the markup, but to say it's "incompatible" is way over the top, and bringing IE3 to the table is just silly, would have been better if you had used lynx as an example of a non-css browser, although that doesn't rly render headings big & bold and stuff like that...
