Hi,
I have a big problem, I have a visitor from Sao Paulo that sees the time from Sao Paulo as if DS wasn't on but it is. From Geneva, on my comp, I see it with DTS and with the correct time.
The visitor says that her computer has the right time and date.
What could possibly be the problem ???
Thank you,
Sohnyrin

mjohnq3 commentedIn your site configuration for Date and Time settings, do you have User-configurable time zones: enabled? If so, your user can set her local time zone on her My Account settings page. If it's just a visitor (Anonymous user) then I believe your server settings are used the default.

epageperron commentedHi mjohnq3,
Yes it is an anonymous visitor, only admins have accounts on that site.
But I don't understand how changing the time zone would affect the world clocks since the script reads the computer's time to output the time and DST info...
If I change the date of my computer to September 25 for instance, I can reproduce her problem, that is the DST star isn't there and also the time is 1 hour less on the Sao Paulo clock.

mjohnq3 commentedIt looks like the time zone setting in Drupal has no effect on the module's calculation of time differences. Sorry I made that assumption.
What is the significance of the Sept. 25 date? Daylight savings time in Brazil didn't start until Oct 16th at midnight.

epageperron commentedThe problem was with the visitor's network's server time and date was not set properly so there is no problem with the module here.
