I have one product that, other than the price, sku, description, etc., looks exactly the same as the other products in the database. The product is active, the stock is 1 and the threshold is 0. There are no orders for this product and it is not in a cart. The 'Add to Cart' button for this product always says 'Out of Stock.' The stock report shows the same numbers I have above.

You must be using some contributed module to do stock handling - Ubercart core does not ever change the button to say "Out of Stock". You need to post your issue in the issue queue for whatever stock module you're using.

Yes, sorry, it turned out to be the UC Attribute Stock Filter module, even though the product had no assigned attributes.
