pedrofaria commentedOf course... i just need time for it... if you help me, will be more faster than alone :)
i will try answer all issues and update js library to 2.1 in this week... this version has a big and great update (Caption on DIV tag)
How do you want contribute?
cya!
notarealperson commentedI'd be happy to do whatever makes the most sense to move it along. If you want to create the branch after you do the 2.1 updates this week I can start doing some coding/porting.
I assume porting to the Views 3 API is as much the challenge as to Drupal 7?
pedrofaria commentedjimi,
Start porting using 6.2 as base. I guess that 6-2.3 will not have big differences and will bring big troubles for update the port before...
When you have a first preview, post here the patch for community make tests and if ok, i will add you as co-maintainer... ok?
Thanks in advance,
pedrofaria

pedrofaria commentedjimi,
any progress?
notarealperson commentedSorry I've been dealing with all kinds of javascript issues in D7 that's prevented me from testing properly. Will try and get back to you ASAP.

kjv1611 commentedAny updates on the port to Drupal 7? Just curious, b/c I know I've already used this module in 2 sites. Once I got the hang of it, it's been a great tool.
I noticed someone else asked about D7 as well?
Thanks for the work so far!
finex commentedI'm available to help with testing on an eventual D7 release :-)

jamesbenison commentedI've had a working version of the nivo slider plugin for a while. My CVS application is taking a long time.

jamesbenison commentedThe version I put together requires putting the plugin in the libraries folder. Make sure to view the readme file.
Files are on this page: www.lunarclips.com/node/13. The api module is a dependency.
I can't really send a patch because it's a completely different module.
If something isn't working please let me know so I can fix it.

jamesbenison commentedI have tracked down the problem with the Nivo Slider module that I posted not displaying on webkit browsers (Safari and Chrome). It's actually due to a bug in the Drupal 7 core image module that was causing it to not theme height and width attributes for images. The patch below fixes the problem.

WilliamV commented@Jamesbenison: your work and thus its vision is highly appreciated by all drupalers.
Subscribe as well.
pedrofaria commentedBefore start porting, i need to know what version of views you are using????
alpha or dev?
klonosI for one use dev versions of modules whenever available. It helps projects progress ;)
bryancasler commentedsubscribe, I'm using dev
Comment #36
klonosTaking a look at the project's usage stats one can easily see that from the ~2100 sites the ~2000 use 2.0 final and ~120 use 2.x-dev. The rest using 1.x versions are almost 70 sites, but I doubt there's any interest from them in a D7 version (they haven't even upgraded to the 2.x branch anyways).
pedrofaria commentedGreat news folks...
Now, with views in beta stage, i started the port to d7.
The work is hard because there is some bugs in JS views module who make my work grow slowly.
This is a starter release and he is not usable now... but with some work, you can put him running on your d7... http://cl.ly/2J1C3g2A3i0G1f2M3M2S
So, let's code!

klonos@gamanox: Hey william, welcome to drupal ;)
Please file a new issue instead of posting questions that are not relevant to current discussions. What you do is ofter referred as 'issue hijacking' or 'adding noise' and is frowned upon in drupal.org.
bryancasler commentedProps to klonos for being classy about it.
klonos...thanx Bryan for your kind words. You do realize though that by your comment and my thanking you here we are not helping the issue either - simply adding noise. Now, william is a member of only a few hours. What's our excuse :P
Comment #43
ckngTry out the D7 dev branch and report back in separate issue.
