zzolo commentedHi @garbo. Your link does not go to map, FYI. Also, have you looked at this: http://drupal.org/node/613002

marcusx commentedI tested this on IE and can reproduce it. I have also the same problem on my own installation as I had to figure out right now. I will read "Vector Layers and IE" you provided the link for and investigate further.
This is the direct link garbo meant I think:

marcusx commentedCould it be an openlayers problem? I get an javascript error in IE. (Invalid Argument) I attached a screenshot with the IE developer console output. I installed openlayers 2.10 locally and used the uncompressed lib. The problem is at line 678 in Map.js. I get no error in Firebug.
I also put the meta tag explained in http://drupal.org/node/613002 in my page.tpl right after head. This changes nothing.

marcusx commentedFinaly got it working. It must be the IE 31 CSS files loading limit. After activating the CSS optimization in admin/settings/performance everything is working just fine in IE.

garbo commentedHi Zzolo,
I had a look at that page already but I don't think the solution was there. But I will check it thoroughly again.
@marcusx With my website I had already turned on the CSS and JS optimalisation. It didn't help me. Maybe you have some other settings that are making it work for you?

garbo commentedHmmm, it might actually have to do with the 31 stylesheets problem in CSS! But the solution for me isn't in the CSS optimization setting. I had a look at the HTML source for the page and found some inline JS in the foot of the source that calls all my JS and CSS files (see at the bottom of this post).
I'm not sure what module is doing this and what the purpose is. My guess is that it's the Ctools module but I'm not sure. Need to dive into it.
I will be back if I have more results.
The inline JS found:

garbo commentedIt has taken me a long time to find out but the problem was an apparent conflict between the OpenLayers module/script and the Shadowbox module/script. This conflict prevented the maps from being loaded in any version of IE. Other browsers did not have any problems.
The solution was simple: I replaced the shadowbox module for the Lightbox2 module and everything works fine now!
I hope this information helps future users who come accross this problem. I will post it also in the issues queue for Shadowbox.

garbo commentedChanging the status to a bug-report.

tmcw commentedThis a bug (and a known one) in Shadowbox and IE, but not in OpenLayers.
garbo commentedAh I see. Sorry for posting it here then. And thanks for your reply.
