Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck using BlockTheme with a Panels-based page layout?

Based on another post, I figured out that I need to set the panels 'style' for my content to 'system block' to get it to use the standard block.tpl.php template (which is at least a start), but the blocks don't seem to pick up the blocktheme specific settings.

I will mention that the blocks in question that I'm trying to style are for the most part NOT active on the site in a standard region - I'm wondering if this could be the reason why they aren't saving the blocktheme data (and not have anything to do with the panels layout).

Anyways, just wondering if anyone's had any luck with this.

Hi gekido,

Do you have a block.tpl.php template in your theme/sub-theme?

I just played around with Panels and the only time when a block didn't get the custom template specified in blocktheme is when i removed block.tpl.php.

Will double check - am pretty sure that I do have a block template though

Thanx, will post an update when I get back to working on my panels pages again (soon-ish)
