I tried 1.3.2 too, way too buggy, seeing how lightweight the drupal module for fancybox is there is not much we can do from here. We just need to wait for a better 1.3.3 I believe.

I'm considering bundling fancybox 1.3.1 with Fancybox module. Few reasons:

- it would simplify code and installation, currently too much manual work should be done
- Fancybox API is moving target making upgrades complicated
- library is now under compatible licence, this was issue last year
- we could fix path for alpha filters in CSS that are causing (reported) bugs and slowdowns
