When I add a new user, the username field is removed. But.. When I want to submit a new user, it still says 'You must enter a username'. I've already adjusted the settings and told the module that it should use the token [mail].. What's going wrong?

Have been able to reproduce the issue in a test, but closing this for now, since it's on an unsupported branch. If someone wants to contribute a patch to resolve this problem, please reopen the issue.
