It would be nice to include webform in the list of supported file widgets. Sorry, I haven't the time to look at this at the moment to supply a patch :(

Is there any support for this yet for Webform file types? Can't seem to find anything on it.

Yes, being able to use this in the File component of the Webform module would be very nice. It would help to keep all file uploads cleanly sorted on Webform submissions.

I have no plans personally to do this, if anything I'd prefer to go in the complete opposite direction and only support CCK based fields. However I won't stop anyone else who wants to do this doing it, and I would be more than happy to accept a patch.
