The Standards are a London-based group who I have known for some time and offered to help out with creating them a website, benefitting myself by gaining experience and adding a site to my portfolio.

The band's remit was that they wanted to be able to link in their YouTube videos, audio, link to iTunes for downloads, have a mailing list with an offer of free downloads for signing up as well as the usual things like links to their social networking pages, being contactable, adding news stories and linking to other sites to 'swap links'.

As well as this, the band wanted everything to be editable by themselves, not a problem with Drupal!

The theme is a customisation of the Acquia Slate theme. I offered the band three choices of colouring - white, light blue and black and they opted for the black you see on the site.

I was up against a tight deadline, as the group's single is coming up for release - I will be adding a store in a couple of weeks' time, but the priority was to get the bulk of the site working. I used SWF Tools with JW Player for the audio page. This was by far the trickiest thing to get to function, but I got there in the end with the help of a tutorial which I'll find and post here in a few days.

I will be posting a full document of the process, modules used and so on when I return in a few days from my (I think) well-earned holiday tommorow.

For now, your thoughts and any bugs you find on the site will be much appreciated and I will endeavour to answer your questions if there's anything on the site you'd find useful.

Actually I'm wondering are you going to post the tutorial for the Standards website. I would really like to know what you did as I am facing that kind of project now. Any help would be appreciated, BTW, I like the way the site looks.

Thanks
