@Aaronbauman has been very generous in creating a patch that allows pageroute to use draggable weights, like other sections of Drupal including the navigation menu page. Applying the patch results in certain issues such as being unable to edit the pages, and instead displaying the weights of those pages and nothing else.

My request would be to have the patch added to the module's core code for the next release, so patching it becomes unnecessary.
