I was just administering something and realized I was having an intense desire to alternate the colours on table rows. For example, looking at a permissions page with nine million permission check boxes can get a little overwhelming.

So, either we should alternate the row background colours or have the rows highlight when a mouse hovers over them.

Fix proposed in a patch in #974314: Two minor CSS improvements. Please review that patch to help this get pushed to 6.x-3.0.
