Naturally, the true test of a new contributor's understanding is when they produce their first module and submit it to the drupal for evil group. Going through this process is significantly harder and more satisfying than the cvs application process. A sufficiently evil module will gain you notoriety and enhanced corporation from the community at large.
Deliverables:
One module that is sufficiently evil, funny, or twisted enough to make the people in drupal for evil cringe and laugh with evil glee.

cwgordon7 commentedThis proposal is too vague. If I'm a new contributor, I don't know what "drupal for evil" is, or what the process is going to be like. Please describe more specifically exactly what this task entails.
Furthermore, I'm not sure this task would benefit the greater Drupal community. While tasks should aim to be fun, they should also aim to provide concrete improvements for Drupal.

The initiative drupal for evil is not meant to be serious. There are example module like http://drupal.org/project/misery which provide random errors for your site.

Perhaps this explains it a bit better.

vosechu commentedThanks Dereine, I didn't think that this would merit as much attention but I'm secretly pleased that people are actually commenting on it.
It's true that it's pretty vague, Misery is a great example of a module but I'd be happy to work with whoever picks up this task on what I consider Evil and I work with Grendzy who is by far the most twisted fellow I've ever met (as any security team member should be).
