Hi,
I have built a site in Drupal using english as the main language of Drupal. My content is all in french and now the site is compelted I want the CMS to also be in French. Please can somebody tell me how to do this.

Enable 'Locale' module, and use 'language assign'
Hi, I would suggest you change the default language of the site to French.
First I would back up the site - then try the following.
You can do this by:
1. enabling the 'locale' module.
2. Then go to admin/settings/language to add 'French' as a language
3. Download and enable 'http://drupal.org/project/languageassign' module
4. Use 'language assign' module to change the language to all the nodes to French
5. Set the default language of the site to French.
This should allow you to change the language of all the pages to French, and also the default language will be French.
