Here's a patch that includes support for some common file types/extensions. The patch also cleans up the CSS a bit by combining selectors with identical properties -- namely, gif and jpg icons.

iva2k commentedThanks! Reviewed and committed to CVS 6.x-2.x-dev. I omitted the gif merge with JPEG since it does not add new functionality - there was a thought of making gif have its own icon.
Note that it takes up to 12 hours for the download to appear on the project page.

manoloka commentedHi there,
Just wondering if a .docx should show an icon or like a .doc or just a plain white page icon?
I'm using 6.x-2.4
Thanks

manoloka commentedI've tried the 6.x-2.x-dev but doesn't seem to have the patch committed or at least the icon for .docx is still a blank page.
Is that normal or a bug?

manoloka commentedMy mistake ... I flushed all caches and I can see the icon now :-)
Thanks

This issue has been closed. It is unclear what you expect to happen after your submission.
Also, you sent a file from old release, which complicates analysis of what you did. Drupal convention is to submit patches (diff) of files to simplify everybody's life.
I'm just ignoring it.
Feel free to reopen with proper submission and clear purpose.

You are right , I`m sorry for unclear that , some body ask me to apply the patch for him (because he dose not know, and dose not have application to do that) so I did this for him , and uploaded here , that`s may help some body with the same case.
you are right about Drupal convention, feel free to delete the file if you want.
