Questions about how to use Flashvideo

Issue Summary

Hello,

I want to say this is a pretty cool module and have been playing around with it for a few days on my desktop and seems to be working fine. Some questions though since I could not find answers to them.

1) When I run a batch encode is it possible to limit how many move or start to get processed. The reason why is I add about 20 videos all about 150mb and some got converted and some didn't. All of them received thumbnails but only 4 videos were converted so I would like to limit how many run per each queue.

2) I used lighty but could not get the flv streaming working from my localhost to my laptop. I used lighttpd many times so I can't think it is that since I tested a normal flv file and it was able to seek properly. I did check the file from flashvideo to make sure it had metadata to seek which it did.

3) Confused about mp4. I can upload and it seems to bypass the encoding process but will not show on a page in a player.

4) I tried the dev verision which seems to be working as well but I had a few php errors so I went to the 1.5 and with the patches for views it seems like it is throwing no error at the moment. Which should I be working with though? I'm new to Drupal so not sure if there will be a upgrade path from the dev to a newer stable version and from what I've read it seems that is how it suppose to be.

5) Is it possible to run without cron?

6) Is it possible to run multiple batch folders or multiple directories so files can encode in parallel. My cpu is only 12% when ffmpeg runs so I'd like to run at least 3 instances if possible.

7) Tried applying all the patches for h264 encoding. Encoding works fine but qt-faststart only runs on the first video when you run cron FYI.
