It would be nice to got some ajax message after plupload is finished.
Something like this:
"All your images were succesfully loaded. You can add some other images if you can, just close this message. Or if you are satisfied with ammount of uploaded images, you can [link]look[/link] how your gallery album looks like. If you will be want add some description for yor uploaded images , you can do it on [link]manage images[/link].
You can change sorting of images in your gallery album. Click on [link]Sorting images[/link]"

With some message like this it will be more user friendly.

I definitely don't want a redirect - that's the benefit of plupload. If you don't want to change anything on your image nodes, you don't have to. Either way, it depends on plupload to implement some form of hook, and thereby depends on this issue.

I just posted #1345748: Per-relationship redirect options (feature request) which is strongly related to this issue. I decided to post a new issue because it includes some more/different changes than this one. Thought you guys might want to check it out.
