Hi. I have a BIG problem. Lately, when I want to create a new user (from the admin or by registering), the user creates (the users enters mail and they get a link to enter the site and choose their password), up to that point everything works okay. The problem is when they log out, when they later try to enter the site, the site tells them that they have entered a wrong password. I don't know what's happening. Could it be that the autogenerated passwords is not changing?

I have the Salt Module installed but did't had trouble before. I tried entering in the user the password + salt-hash to detect if it's a problem of the Salt module, but I can't enter.

I'm going crazy, can't find what's going on, please help!

Thanks everyone,

mateo

I found that when I go to the user setting and change the password, save changes and it sends me to the homepage and no message is delvered, nor the the password is changed. I try with the new password, and it fails, try the old one, and it enters..
please help!

Disabled the Salt Module: I can create users normally, they work with the password they enter or the one I assign them if I create them with the admin, but then they can't their password or reset it by recovering (nothing happens, the original password stays untouched). When they change their password in their profile options, and click save, no message as "changes saved" nor nothing appears, they are only redirected to the homepage.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem. I didn't have to disable the whole Trigger module. I found that it worked fine if I unassigned all actions that had to do with updating the user profile. It is too bad since I did like those actions! But it is more important to be able to reset passwords.
