I can't make GA to work properly. When I try to use image_fupload (6.x-1.x-dev) and click update i got error:
"The gallery places had to be recreated. Possible causes: The gallery feature was assigned to this content type after the creation of this article or the gallery-assist module has been reinstalled. In order to be able to upload pictures you have to reload this page. RELOAD HERE"

Reloading or saving node doesn't resolve it. It seems GA is not creating directories in files/gallery_assist. If i upload one image with normal GA uploader or change authoring information and click save I got:
* The directory sites/default/files/gallery_assist/1/gallery_assist37 has been created.
* The directory sites/default/files/gallery_assist/1/gallery_assist37/img has been created.
* The directory sites/default/files/gallery_assist/1/gallery_assist37/thm has been created.
* The directory sites/default/files/gallery_assist/1/gallery_assist37/prev has been created.
* 1 images was added sucessfully to the gallery.
And then I can use Image_fupload (So i figured it wasn't problem with it).

What I tried to resolve this error:
1. Clean install with only GA, image_fupload.
2. Disabled, Reinstalled, Enabled GA Module.
3. Tried to run update.php and/or cron after install.
4. Installed older version of GA.
5. I have even tried to copy my another site with older files and database where all works, but copied page got same error.
6. I changed permissions to 777 for whoe site.
Nothing helped.

I have no idea what causes this, and I hope this is good place to report this and ask for help.

Same issue.

Also, the image uploaded initially using the GA uploader is not sorted with the rest of the images. It remains at the top of the list no matter what weight it is given.

Update: Reverted (from 1.17) to 1.16-alpha3 and it seems to work correctly.

Hi, need to check 1.16-alpha3 later too. I think the first image is considered a cover in GA, that's why is not being sorted.

Update: I've reverted to 1.16-alpha3, but it doesn't change anything. I still get same error, and no folders are created at upload. No one know what can cause this error?
