Author field is empty for anonymous users

Issue Summary

I have a little problem with the forum. In Full node can not I see the "author" field, but in the teaser, I can see it.

After having reinstalled the module I get the fields, but it does not appear when anonymous posts.

Steps taken to replicate the problem:

  • Installed Drupal 6.24
  • Installed the patch in comment #47 of #1425868: Duplicate entry of themes primary key in systems table of Drupal 6.24 (using Drush or Ægir) to fix a Drush compatibility problem that was introduced in 6.24.
  • Installed Display Suite 6.x-2.x-dev (is currently identical to 6.x-2.2)
  • Installed Node Displays 6.x-2.9.
  • Installed CCK 6.x-2.9.
  • Enabled the Forum, Content, Display Suite, Display Suite UI and Node Display modules
  • Created a new forum Container and placed a new Forum inside it.
  • Went to admin/build/ds/layout/forum/full and placed the title in the header, the author in the left region, post date in the right region and body in the footer.
  • Went to admin/user/permissions and enabled the "create forum topics" permission for anonymous users.
  • Logged out and created a post as an anonymous user.

Result: the author is not displayed. I can confirm this issue.

Above patch is for 6.x-2.x.

The problem also exists in the D7 version. This patch is for 7.x-1.x.
