When I have forum_access installed by itself, if I remove anonymous permissions to view all forums, then the "Forums" menu option does not show. This was fixed in forum_access http://drupal.org/cvs?commit=291942 and is the expected behavior.

But if I install og_forum (and change nothing else), the menu option reappears. Clicking through to the /forum page simply shows "No forums defined" which is correct (as no "public" forums are defined), but it would be preferable to omit the menu item.

I can't see the CVS commits (drupalcode.org is timing out), but will keep looking. Wanted to post the issue in case anyone else can find it faster.
