According to the official webpage http://www.mysql.com/products Oracle's MySQL annual subscription on a server will now start at $2,000 for standard support (InnoDB Storage engine included), and the basic and silver packages, that started at $599 and $1,999 are now gone.

What do you think this means for Drupal startups and commercial projects? Is MyISAM enough to get you going? is PostgreSQL the solution? Or Maria DB?
