I am trying to get comments set up on a website (and I've done this many times before with success). But whether anonymous or logged in, the comment goes into the database but it does not appear in the approval queue, OR the published queue, OR attached to the node in any way. After adding a comment, I see it in the comments table with a status of 1, but nothing in the node_comment_statistics. Not sure if there are any other tables to check.

The only things I can think of that may be effecting this, i.e., what's different this time around then when I've done it in the past is (a) I'm using multi-site (domain access) and (b) I initially used Wordpress import to bring in a bunch of comments, though I have since emptied those two tables during troubleshooting.

If anyone has any suggestion of things to try or to look at I would really appreciate the help!
