Style options broken: conflict with devel?

I'm been trying out SV on a D7 install, and it has been working great. But all of a sudden I could no longer access the style options tab in Views. Clicking the wheel basically did nothing. I looked in the apache log and found:

[Thu Nov 04 16:00:29 2010] [notice] child pid 76830 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

Tried a couple of different things, and finally I disabled Devel – which made the problem go away.

No idea if this is somehow specific to my setup or if this is generally reproducible. Also not sure weather it's a SV issue, but the other Views styles *did* work when SV didn't.

Mac with MAMP, Apache 2.0.59, PHP 5.2.5
