When i try to upload a modiefied version of the settings.php file i get this message:
Kommando: STOR settings.php
Respons: 553 Can't open that file: Permission denied
Feil: Critical file transfer error
What should i do? I find it a bit odd because i have been able to change the file before and upload a new one :s

ros_88889 commentedI am trying the same, update the $base_url to the www version as I installed drupal with fantisco and installed it on the non www version.
Filezilla won't let me load it up too.
Please help guys,
regards,

ros_88889 commentedHey, think I found the solution. Right click over the settings.php file and click File permissions. Select "write" and then do your transfer. Then right click on settings and unselect "Write"
Thanks should do it.

joeu0230 commentedUsing Filezilla I changed the permissions to allow 'write' but was still unable to transfer the edited settings.php file back to the server with the line change ('FALSE' to 'TRUE' in order to use the update module)....
Any suggestions?

inspiresnet commentedHey Ros_88889 Thanx that worked :)

rvb commentedSometimes changing the permission of your file with Filezilla doesn't work propertly. (removing the "write" feature and puting it to 444 doesn't always work). So then I use the Filemanager tool through the CPanel of my host provider.
