I am using a subtheme.
I am also using imagecache_profile module.
I have chosen some imagecache style to present the profile image in comments but all I see is the data file.

Deepika.chavan CreditAttribution: Deepika.chavan commentedHi,
I am using 'fusion_starter' theme.
I am getting profile image in comments. what I did is,
1. Enabled 'Picture support:' which at the bottom of page 'admin/user/settings/' .
2. Enabled ' User pictures in posts ' and ' User pictures in comments ' options which are on configuration page of Default theme.
3. Uploaded profile image for current user.
Or may be your problem is something else I also got some related links -
http://drupalfun.com/content/override-default-user-pic-comments-and-forums
http://www.lullabot.com/articles/imagecache-example-user-profile-pictures .
I hope this will help to solve your problem.
Rgrds,
Deepika Chavan.
