Is there a way to get this to work? I have a bunch of taxonomy terms that actually have stories written about the term, so I would love to be able to link the term to the story node by simply adding [node:####] to the taxonomy description.

chowdah commentedI did that before posting here and instead of outputting the node title as a link to the node it just renders what I actually typed, ie [node:1234].
