In my site, under the recipes button i.e. http://www.thatscookedby.com/recipes
when you click on any category i.e say cuisine. This shows all recipes that are categorised as cuisine.
Now if I try to filter (using the taxonomy_filter on the RHS), My results are not getting filtered, they still show the same number of nodes as that of the cuisine. I can correctly see the node count for each term, but cannot see that on the page.
I have the following set-up:
All taxonomy and terms use the path: recipes/[cat-raw]-recipes.
In my Taxonomy filter i have the following set-up:
Under Mappings tab, I have:
Vocabulary-> Cuisine
Refine criteria->Cuisine menu
Current Criteria-> same
Under advanced, I have
URL's to listen on: taxonomy/term/%tids/%depth/!feed
URL format: taxonomy/term/%tids/%depth
PS: I tried using this instead as per previous comments, but this does not work.
URL's to listen on: recipes/%tids/%depth/!feed
URL format: recipes/%tids/%depth/
I am using version 6.x-1.3 of the module.
Please any help to get this to work will be highly appreciated.

It appears you are using views to generate the nodes included in the display. My understanding is the views display does an OR on the term ids, instead of an AND. Filtering requires an AND. Please try disabling the view and letting the core menu handler for taxonomy/term/%ids control the nodes included in the display.

i am also using views and having the same problem. no filter is being applied. is there a way to use it with views? i need to use views too.

With D6, use db_rewrite_sql() to replace the query generated by Views with the query that is generated by core taxonomy module for the path taxonomy/term/tids. Do you know where to find the latter query and how to add this code to your project? If not, can you ask in IRC?

Thank you very much solotandem.
I disabled the " taxonomy_term" view that I had, this was enabled by another module that I am not using.
This worked for me thanks.
Ps: In future if I do want to use views, than what needs to be done to get it to work. I am fairly new to Drupal, so have limited knowledge on the inner workings of the system.
