Hey is this on github or is there a way I could get a peak at the code?
My usecase is a paywall in front of views and feeds, not necessarily the content they point to. Which could be accomplished by embedding a view in a premium content type but it would be nice to build it more elegantly/extensibly, which I imagine with this project would be some sort of views barrier mechanism.

vincenzo commentedHey there.
I apologise if the code is still not available, I now it feels weird. Since this was build internally at the company I work for, there are some of the components that should be stripped out first.
The paywall doesn't allow yet to protect non-content pages, but it's planned and easy to be implemented, so you will definitely be able to protect whatever URL handled by your Drupal Site with a paywall.
Today I'll try to work with my colleagues in order to speed this up and release at least a -dev snapshot.

jpstrikesback commentedYou rock! Thanks for the update :)

vincenzo commentedStill tied up - basically too much work is preventing us to release a generic version of one of the submodules (the wallpage), which is mandatory (you need at least one). In the meantime, you'll be happy to know that URL-based pay walls are now in code.
Working hard to release. Stay tuned.

nikolai commentedDo you still plan to release something ? I'm only asking because we dealing with similar issues and your writeup seems very promising.

daniel wentsch commentedI'm also looking for a similar solution and wanted to know if here's still something about to happen..?

vincenzo commentedI am working on it very very slowly. I am extremely busy with work and other stuff.
I am very sorry there is no code whatsoever released yet, but the code still contains chunks of stuff that cannot be published.
I am still planning to release this, though.
Apologies for being so late!

vincenzo commentedJust asked the community for being sponsored - https://twitter.com/enzoru/status/363607508675747840
If approved, I can spend the coming December to finalise a beta of this project.
Extremely sorry it hasn't happened yet, the code was originally written for The Economist's paywall (and it's still running there), but it needs to be decoupled from The Economist's private code.
