Access issues in private groups [#966094]

Hi,

In private/invitation-only groups on my site, group members can access the group page as well as specific group topics, but they get an 'Access Denied' when trying to access the main forum listing for the group.

Am I missing something obvious?

Sorry, it actually goes a bit deeper:

In a private group's forum:
* Nobody except admin roles can access the forum page
* Members and non-members alike can access forum topics

So it seems that something is being overzealous in restricting access to the topic listings, and not zealous enough in restricting access to the topics themselves.

Is this a bug or a support request? I'm not sure.
