Ported across my entire site from a mish-mash of tools like WordPress to get everything under one Drupal banner. The design was done fresh, using Marvin_2k as the base (spent too damn long fighting with tables, even if there are still a couple of CSS glitches to clear up at some point in the future). Overall, nice system - although trying to track down all the little odds and sods that needed to be tweaked in the various files was a genuine killer ;-)

that's sharp :)
not only is the design nice, but it doesn't immediately scream "this is a drupal site" :)
Indeed...
That's long been a nervous web-tick of mine - no matter how good a system's prebuilt templates are, or how insane I am for trying to do something different, I've always hated landing on a site and instantly thinking "Oh look, it's Drupal/Mambo/Nuke/Whatever..." ;-)
Tech-wise, the files are based on Marvin_2k - albeit fairly heavily reworked (notably, some hacked in Avatars and a re-written log-on box to get away from the horrible 'Create Content' drop-down), but using the base to save too much re-inventing the wheel. It's always fun to see how you can stretch things - in this case, using menu boxes to hide extra CSS mark-up for the header graphic and Porfolio backgrounds.
Looks good, & what's wrong wi
Looks good, & what's wrong with a site screaming "this is a Drupal site?" lol ;) Most people probably don't know the difference.
