Node translation disabled silently

When a node menu item is edited, not matter if in the menu configuration or in the node form, and its path is changed to something different from node/<nid>[/the-rest] the Enable node translation setting is disabled without warning the user in any way. In this case the chebox value is simply ignored, which may be really confusing for the user.
